Christmas carol a bit dark

Christmas was a very good play with very good performers. My wife and myself brought our granddaughters to see this. They are age 2 and 5 the theater was about half full with children the same age.We all enjoyed the play .the timing was perfect for that age group 1 hour and 15 minutes.The only problem that we had a issue with was 2 dark for the age group..The scene where scrooge first meets the ghost of Marley ,he pops out from under the bed.That scared the heck out of my grandchildren Kids today have enough problems with monsters being under there bed.With that exception everything else was fine
